UploadReady Tools is a free, browser-based file utility. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data — or more precisely, why we almost never see it.
Your files never leave your device
All file processing on UploadReady Tools happens entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and standard JavaScript APIs. When you upload an image, resize it, or change its background, the file is read locally and processed locally. No file is sent to any server at any point.
What data we collect
We collect minimal data to operate the service:
- No account data. UploadReady requires no signup, login, or registration.
- No file data. Your files are never transmitted to our servers.
- Basic analytics. Google Analytics 4 records usage and browser information. File processing is local; this does not make browsing anonymous. Microsoft Clarity session replay has been removed from this site.
- Cookies. Google Analytics may use cookies for analytics. Browser privacy controls can restrict third-party tracking. External support links have their own privacy policies.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate or monetize the site:
- Cloudflare Pages — website hosting. Cloudflare may log standard access data (IP address, browser, page requested) per their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — page-level analytics (sessions, bounce rate, device). Data is processed by Google per their privacy policy. You can opt out via Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google AdSense — if advertising is active, Google may collect data for ad personalization. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties beyond what is described above.
Browser memory and local storage
The site stores language and Blep preferences in localStorage. Temporary file previews and results use browser memory and blob URLs. File content is not intentionally stored by the application in localStorage. Browser-managed downloads remain on your device until you remove them.
Children's privacy
UploadReady Tools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service grows. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
